Veronica Garrubbo is a teen singer and actress in the Philadelphia area. She has been performing on the stage since the age of 11, when she was cast as "plants, mushrooms or trees" before graduating to "animals" and, eventually, "humans."
Subsequently, she played Jasmine in Aladdin Jr. and the tile role in Snow White in Children Series productions. Veronica has been cast several times as the ingenue, in Les Miserables (Cosette), Xanadu (Kira/Clio), Into the Woods (Cinderella), and others. She has also liked portraying interesting villains in 13,The Musical (Lucy) and Alice in Wonderland (Queen of Hearts). She has relished working alongside professional actors at various regional theaters in Evita, West Side Story, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Veronica often sings in cabarets and concerts in NYC and the Philadelphia area, including at Feinstein's 54 Below. She enjoys acting in short films and commercials.
Veronica is president of her class and a junior at The Episcopal Academy, where she studies Greek and Spanish, participates in plays and musicals, and sings in the select choir. Outside of school, she works on her craft with weekly voice lessons and dance classes in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.
